I first got interested in family research in the early 1980s.  My aunt Bev was a persistent and enthusiastic researcher who uncovered our family's deep US roots.  While traveling in Europe for several years, I learned many languages and with her help got interested in my Swedish ancestry.  More than 30 years later, I still have the bug.

Internet resources have revolutionized and invigorated genealogical research worldwide.  I am a software developer and computer expert.  I speak fluent German and conversational Swedish and Dutch.  Through many years and countless archives, I have become quite proficient with interpreting Swedish parish records.  I truly enjoy unraveling the mysteries that are deeply embedded in that rich resource.

I know how to leverage computers.  I understand how to craft search terms that make otherwise obscure or poorly transcribed records divulge their secrets.

If you have a Swedish ancestral mystery to resolve, let me be your detective!
