Project Description

Names of Ancestors:1. Valentin Rösch & wife, Anna Maria Eisenmann; 2. Michael Hein & wife, Margaretha Nöth; 3. Adam Wachtel & wife, Margaretha Göbel; 4. Friedrich Endres & wife, Margaretha Tren
Religion of family Member(s):Roman Catholic
Village/Town/Province/State of family:Hohenroth, Neustadt an der Saale, Unterfranken, Bavaria
Range of years which are required for the research:approx. 1695 to 1850 (the search I want is specific to the portfolio of Hohenroth parish records contained in the Archiv und Bibliothek des Bistums Würzburg, Germany)
Specific dates and events:1. Valentin Rösch & wife, Anna Maria Eisenmann (lived in Hohenroth last half of 1700s); 2. Michael Hein & wife, Margaretha Nöth (lived in Hohenroth early 1700s); 3. Johann Adam Wachtel (approx. 1722-1775) & wife, Margaretha Göbel (approx. 1723-?), married 3 Feb 1750?, (lived in Hohenroth); 4. Friedrich Endres & wife, Margaretha Tren (lived in Hohenroth late 1700s to mid-1800s)
Occupations of family member(s):
Names of any spouses and how they relate to your family lines:Please see detailed information in "What I'm Trying to Accomplish" section
Sibling names:Possible siblings of Johann Adam Wachtel are Johannes, Magdalena, Nikolaus and Anna Maria
Dates of immigration:
Information available from previous research:I can provide children, spouses, and some dates for the four couples listed above (and their descendants) previously obtained from Hohenroth parish records
Goal of research:I would like to have research done in the reading room of the Archiv und Bibliothek des Bistums Würzburg (Würzburg, Germany). The research would specifically be done in the portfolio of the parish register of Hohenroth, which has been preserved and digitalized. The Hohenroth records contain the dates of birth/baptism, marriage, and death from 1695 onwards. It is necessary to register in advance to do research in the archive’s reading room. I am looking for the following information in the portfolio of the parish register of Hohenroth electronic records. If it is permitted and more time efficient to make and send me copies of the following records, that would be preferred. I’d appreciate discussing this in advance. 1. The ancestral line of Valentin Rösch and his wife, Anna Maria Eisenmann as far back as is contained in the Hohenroth records. I would like the names and birth/baptism, marriage, and death dates for their parents and their forbears. The names and dates for their children would be welcome, also. To provide a starting point, Valentin Rösch and Anna Maria Eisenmann had a daughter, Margaretha Rösch (1790-1862) who married Sebastian Hein (1783-1837) in Hohenroth on 6 Feb 1810. 2. The ancestral line of Michael Hein and his wife, Margaretha Nöth as far back as is contained in the Hohenroth records. (This may be the earliest generation available in the records.) I would like the names and birth/baptism, marriage, and death dates for their parents and their forbears. The names and dates for their children would be welcome, also. To provide a starting point, Michael Hein and Margaretha Nöth had a son, Sebastian Hein (1750-1820) who married Margaretha Wachtel (1752-1816) in Hohenroth on 16 Jul 1776. 3. The ancestral line of (Johann) Adam Wachtel (approx. 1722-1775) and his wife, Margaretha Göbel (approx. 1723-?), married 3 Feb 1750? as far back as is contained in the Hohenroth records. (This may be the earliest generation available in the records.) I would like the names and birth/baptism, marriage, and death dates for their parents and their forbears. The names and dates for their children would be welcome, also. To provide a starting point, Adam Wachtel and Margaretha Göbel had a daughter, Margaretha Wachtel (1752-1816) who married Sebastian Hein (1750-1820) in Hohenroth on 16 Jul 1776. 4. The ancestral line of Friedrich Endres and his wife, Margaretha Tren (spelling unconfirmed) as far back as is contained in the Hohenroth records. I would like the names and birth/baptism, marriage, and death dates for their parents and their forbears. The names and dates for their children would be welcome, also. To provide a starting point, Friedrich Endres and Margaretha Tren had a daughter, Margaretha Endres (1807-1856) who married Valentin Hein (1811-1890) in Hohenroth on 1 Aug 1837. Valentin Hein, Margaretha Endres, and their children emigrated to America in 1850. I can upload previously obtained parish records if this will assist.
Branch of service, rank, and years served in the military for any family members:
Additional Notes:My stated budget is based on the narrow scope of records I wish to have searched, my knowledge of what the records contain and approximately how much time it will take, and previous similar research I've had done by genealogists. This being said, bids higher than the stated amount will be considered.
